Project Description: Alignment and preliminary study for the inclusion of a bicycle path on the proposed right-of-way of the North-South Tollway south extension in Will County. Project studied construction of bike path versus use of local roadways, impacts and right-of-way requirements of adding the bicycle path, preliminary alignment design and grading to establish cost estimate, and preliminary design in accordance with AASHTO bike path criteria. This project is has not been built.
